This photo was just taken yesterday and it's already become the favorite among all the pictures I've taken.
It was an ordinary working day, morning, around 10, I was walking in San Zaccaria in Venice, at this time of the day the vendors have already set up their stands as you can see in the background of the picture, but for painters, the day just starting.
This old man was setting up his stand, and probably gonna stay to late evening.
It was a foggy day, you can't see much in any direction, however, when I just arrived S.Zaccaria, thanks to some random blow of wind, the fog was cleared in this particular side of the island for a moment and I snapped this photo just when I walked down a bridge.
1/500 second, 100 ISO, aperture I believe was between 1.8-2.8. It wasn't a very sharp image out of the camera, but it's sharp enough after a little editing and put on flickr.
Portrait is fun, a picture with a character is 100 times better than a picture with only view.
