Canon 10-22mm on Sony A6300 for Vlogging, is autofocus working? all you need to know

Today I traded two of my old lenses(one is Samyang 14mm) for this Canon 10-22mm f3.5-4.5 USM lens for the autofocus and 10mm wide range.
Here is my first impression:(with Commlite adaptor)

1.excellent range, 10mm-22mm is equivalent to 16mm-35mm on Sony APS-C body(ohh that's the range of the GM lens!) much wider than Samyang 14mm on crop body for sure, the focal range and versatility is perfect for vlogging.

2.reasonable price, about 350euro for second handed copy. Just think about the Sony 10-18mm lens, costs 800euros!

3.good autofocusing in photo mode, nice! pretty bad auto focus in video mode, it's hunting, it's slow, it's noisy, it does get job done but it's not reliable when you are shooting vlog when you don't see if your face is in focus.

4.on a flip side the manual focus system on Canon is great, I enjoy using it, simple, quick, reliable, only problem is that I can't quite read the focus distance when I'm holding camera towards myself.

5.very sharp in the center but super freaking soft on the edges, it gets better when you zoom in to 22mm. But not a big issue for me since I mainly use it for vlogging.

6.produce some very sharp 1080p footage based on what I've shot so far. The 4k can only be better because A6300 is famous for its great 4k image quality and infamous for its bad 1080p quality.

7.much lighter and less front heavy than Samyang 14mm on A6300, easy to carry around.

8.doesn't quite work with fullframe at least not with my A7, the camera doesn't receive enough light through the lens to make decent pictures, will test more in the future.

I'll add more here in the future as I use more.
