Sony A7, the camera people ignored

Sony A7, the very first of Sony full frame mirrorless, started the revolution against DSLR, is barely mentioned anywhere when you search around Sony mirrorless system camera and lenses.
Why so? Is it bad? Or maybe it's the later models are too good?

Why you should get this camera in 2018, 2019 even 2020: It's cheap, new one costs about 900euros with kit lens, about 700euros body only(just checked amazon while writing this, i'm surprised by the current price, thought it costed 900euro for body only!) It's the easiest gateway to full frame mirrorless world!
Great still image capability, I love shooting portraits with it, the bokeh is irreplaceable if compared to crop sensor cameras.

Draw back: no internal steady shot, auto focus is rather slow, short battery life, video capability is very limited, the best image quality you can get is 24p 24M.

Nonetheless I'd recommend it to anyone who just started to learn photography and want to have a taste of full frame, and don't have big budget, this camera is perfect for you, I'm happy with this camera and for me I don't see any reason to upgrade to A7ii or A7R. If I could, I'd get A7Rii or A7iii but they are beyond my budget for now.
