The very first sight once I arrived in downtown Copenhagen.
I took the train from airport to main train station which is the city center of Copenhagen, climbed up the stairs from platform and had this grand view of architecture in my eyes. It is huge and looks full of history. It was opened in 1911, over 100 years history. Actually it goes a little bit more back, to 1847, the year they built the first station in Copenhagen, after several rebuilt and expansion is what we see today.
It's not only a station but also a market place, well, every train station is like this, but I like the style of the architecture, most other train stations look too modern at least from the inside.
This is one side of the trainstation, a lot of bikes parked here.
And this is taken from across street of the station, beautiful exterior, I like the look.
Many buildings adapted rainbow color on the outside to celebrate pride week.
Tivoli, one of the oldest amusement park in the world, is located across the street of central train station, full of fun and great food, place to hang out. My friend's girlfriend works at the bar and we spent a lot of time there drinking and eating, great atmosphere, lovely people.
City Hall, the current building was inaugurated in 1905.
And the pride week main stage is set right under the hall in the center plaza. Huge stage, loud music blasting all day long, hundreds to thousands of people hanging about at different time of a day, mostly at night.
Oh look, "Venice"! The water is 100 times better than in Venice, there are 100 times less tourists probably as well.
Biking is one of the main transportation means local people take, I love it, I love cycling. Nothing better than a machine that runs so fast on no fuel at all but food and water consumed by human body.
The night is gorgeous, but I didn't have a tripod to take a proper night shot, pity.
I like this angle, canon 10-22mm, ultra wide with brick house and bike leaning on the wall, magical.
super models!
they are super into it
